Declarations
:
: All invited participants were emailed a written explanation detailing the purpose of the evaluation survey, including issues of confidentiality, data storage, and who to contact with questions. The invitation stated that participation was voluntary and would not impact their relationship with the host institution or researchers. Thereafter each individual’s decision to either participate in the study or disregard the invitation was taken voluntarily by clicking a survey link that was unique to each invitee. The study protocol and evaluation instrument were approved by the Vanderbilt University Institutional Review Board (#200133) as an “exempt” study, thus formal written consent was not required. The emails and survey links were created using REDCap, which disabled participant identifiers so that researchers were blinded to connecting participant names and responses. All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
